We Confirm Your Ride and Send a Secure Payment Link
After we’ve found the right option, Jenny contacts you to confirm:
- Pick-up time and location
- Destination and expected arrival
- Type of vehicle and level of assistance
- Final price and trip type (one-way or round-trip)
Once everything looks good, we send you a secure Stripe payment link by text. You can open it on your phone, pay by card in a few taps, and receive a receipt by email.

How CareRide Works
Booking a safe medical ride with CareRide is simple and guided – here’s what to expect
Because we have one of the largest local networks, we’re not limited to a single provider. Instead, we choose the partner who best fits your situation – whether it’s a standard wheelchair ride, gurney transport, or a more complex trip.
Your Ride Happens – and We Keep You Informed
On the day of the ride, the assigned provider arrives at the agreed time and location. Their focus is on safe, respectful assistance for the rider.
During the trip, we:
- Stay available in case anything changes or you have questions
- Communicate with you if there are unexpected delays or schedule changes
- Can notify you once the rider has arrived at their final destination (hospital, clinic, rehab, home, etc.)
You’re not left wondering what’s happening – you know who is coming, when they’re arriving, and when your loved one reaches where they need to be.
When you contact her, she’ll ask a few key questions to understand your situation:
- Who is the ride for (you or a family member)?
- Where is the pick-up and drop-off location?
- What date and time do you need?
- Is it a one-way or round-trip ride?
- Are there any special needs (wheelchair, gurney, assistance getting in/out, oxygen, etc.)?
FAQ
How far in advance should I book a ride?
We recommend contacting us as soon as you know the appointment time. However, we’ll always do our best to help with same-day or short-notice requests depending on availability.
Can a family member ride along?
In many cases, yes. Let us know when you book, and we’ll select a vehicle and partner that can accommodate both the rider and a companion.
How do I pay for the ride?
Once the ride is confirmed, we send you a secure Stripe payment link by text. You can pay by card from your phone, and we’ll email you a receipt.
Where do you operate?
